ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Tori, and I love writing. Because of that, this blog is a collection of words, thoughts, and advice that I wanted to share with the rest of the world. 
My first memory of creative writing is from first grade when I wrote a story about a little girl getting stuck in a cloud, and her parents had to figure out a way to get her back down. I've been writing ever since.
Other things I enjoy: coffee, music, traveling, Italian food, dogs, spending time with friends, and watching warm summer sunsets.
My love for exploration is not just physical. This blog is one giant exploration for me to find the comfort in my own voice and expressing my own opinions, even if they don't match the ones of those around me. I'm exploring the passion in the little things I care about by using the power and knowledge of words. 

In my free time, I'm a graduate student working on my masters degree in literature. I recently graduated with my bachelors of arts in English with a concentration in creative writing, and a minor in communications. I am a Shakespearean at heart, but also dabble in medieval literature. When I'm not studying, I work at my university's writing center and tutor undergraduate Shakespeare courses.
